There is still time to get a flu shot before the peak flu season begins, according to the American Heart Association. Health officials note anyone over the age of six months should receive the vaccine by November. "I'm tired of hearing people say, 'Well, I didn't get sick and I didn't get the flu shot.' Or, 'I don't like it, my arm hurts,' "U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Jerome Adams said. "Getting the flu shot isn't just about keeping you safe. Getting the flu shot is about community, about everyone else around you."
