The scientist argues that there are thousands of bacteria living in dirt, most of which have never been researched. Additionally, these bacteria create undiscovered molecules which may hold the key to new antibiotics. "Our idea is, there's this reservoir of antibiotics out in the environment we haven't accessed yet," Mr. Brady said.
