As Valentine’s Day approaches, you may be looking for some fun and unique ways to say “I Love You” to that someone special. Whether it’s your spouse, significant other, or child, here are a few ideas to try……

• Purchase an inexpensive glass jar with a lid and fill it with slips of paper that indicate all of the reasons why you love them!

• Draw hearts in unexpected places…..on a love note in their lunch, on the fogged up bathroom mirror, use lipstick on any or all mirrors around the house, attached to a sticky note on the rear-view mirror of their car!

• Use Cheerios to spell out ‘I Love You’ on the breakfast table!

• Create a handmade coupon book that entitles the receiver to all of the little things they love (i.e. foot massage)- given by, or arranged by you!

• Make eggs or pancakes for breakfast in the shape of hearts!

• Surprise them with a special outing – all arrangements made by you – for just the two of you!

• Write “I Love You” in the snow with red food coloring! (usually not a problem in MN in February to do this; however, this year it may be!)

However you choose to celebrate Valentine’s Day this year, remember to let all the special people in your life know how much they mean to you.
